Patent Drafting Service

Drafting
A patent application is drafted to protect client's invention and provides exclusive right to the client on the invention for a fixed time. While drafting the patent application the scope of the invention should be broad enough to claim maximum protection and narrow enough so that it does not infringe on existing art. In order to define the scope of the patent application all the relevant or related patents/patent applications in the same technical domain are analyzed to avoid overlap/infringement.
Drafting Office Actions Responses
Once a patent application is filled in a patent office, the patent office can ask for certain amendments to be made in the patent draft. These amendments can be related to modification in claims, claim enablement, drawings, antecedent basis etc. Through this service we assist our client in drafting office action responses by incorporating the required amendments in the draft.
Proof Reading
Proof reading of a patent application is done before filling the patent application, to minimize efforts due to office actions related to drafting. Through proof reading one can avoid missing on all necessary guidelines required for patent drafting and avoid errors in claim enablement, drawing, antecedent basis etc.
Accelerated examination search report
Accelerated examination search report is submitted to US Patents & Trademark Office (USPTO) by the applicant to accelerate the process of examination of patent application which in turn reduces the time for grant of the patent application to 12 months. For this purpose multiple searches based on keywords, US/IPC classes, inventor, assignee & citation are conducted to capture relevant patents/patent application and non patent prior art.

After this an accelerated examination search report is prepared, mentioning all the search strategies, databases used for conducting searches and all the relevant patent and non patent prior art.
