Landscape Study
Landscape study is conducted to capture a snapshot of IP activities pertaining to a technological area. This study enables client to draw insights regarding the patent population density in various jurisdictions related to the technological domain & sub domains along with filing trends. This study also helps to draw insights about assignees, inventors that have IP in the technology. Through this study client can identify broad, narrow & base patents of the technology that can help him to take decisions regarding patent licensing and patent valuation.

Standard Study
Standard study is conducted to capture the entire patents/patent applications specific to a particular standard specification. Through this study client can get insights on the standard essential patents/patent applications and white spaces in the standard. The identification of the standard essential patents/patent applications can help the client to take decisions regarding licensing deals to commercialize their standard based product/process. The white space in standard can help the client to identify niche areas of the standard with scope of innovations. In this study full text analysis of all the standard specific patents/patent applications along with taxonomy classification is provided to client.

White Space/ Gap analysis
White space/gap analysis is done to identify spaces/gaps in the technology where there is scope of innovation. White space/gaps are those areas of technology which are either not developed i.e. have least IP protection. For this purpose all the patents/ patent applications related to the technology are captured and analyzed. The analysis provides insights on the level of IP protection in the technology domain/sub domain. White space/gap analysis help client to plan his R&D strategy and avoiding future infringement.
